Mrs. Oakes (right) is married, has two sons and one dog. Her oldest son is also a Shoal Creek Star! She enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her family. Her most recent passion is all things sourdough! Mrs. Oakes will work primarily with Kindergarten, 4th and 5th grade students this year.

Mrs. Fletcher is married, has two sons, a step-daughter and one dog. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, reading, watching movies, putting together puzzles and traveling. Mrs. Fletcher will work primarily with 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade students this year.

We are committed to providing a comprehensive school counseling program where students can learn and grow socially, personally and academically.

Shoal Creek Counseling Program
Our counseling program is intended to help students be successful at school. We work one-on-one with students, conduct groups and visit classrooms for guidance lessons. Our goal is to increase our students' sense of community at Shoal Creek. We will focus on embracing our differences, finding our personal strengths and recognizing strengths in others.
